Visit MN Farmers Union at the State Fair
ST. PAUL (August 24, 2010) - The great Minnesota get together brings consumers and farmers together. Stop by the Minnesota Farmers Union booth at 1635 Dan Patch Avenue where our famous mocha bars and hot coffee will be in demand the 12 days of the Fair.
"Join us on the Farmers Union back patio, reported to be one of the more relaxing places to grab a cup of coffee at the State Fair according to Fairgoers and bloggers who have discovered the spot," said Doug Peterson, Minnesota Farmers Union President. "Be sure to grab some frozen coffee on a stick to get your energy levels high, or a yard stick to lean on as you walk around the Fair before you leave the Farmers Union booth. See you there."
Other MFU activities throughout the Fair include: Friday, August 27th at 2:30 p.m. sponsorship of the celebrity milking contest (located outside the dairy barn); Saturday, August 28th at 6 p.m. is the 4-H auction where MFU President Doug Peterson is an auctioneer; Sunday, August 29th in the morning is the MFU-sponsored milk run; also on Sunday is the dairy showcase at 10 a.m. in the swine barn; and Tuesday, August 31st is our 8th annual Minnesota Cooks Program from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., in Carousel Park, just west of the Grandstand Ramp. You can check out the schedule at www.minnesotacooks.net, and you can pick up the picturesque Minnesota Cooks calendar at the MFU booth after the event for just $5.
