Minnesota Farmers Union seeks to employ a part-time, three day per week, Membership and Outreach Worker as part of our field staff in West Central multi-county region of Minnesota.

Primary responsibility of the position is to recruit new members to Minnesota Farmers Union, and work with existing members to renew their membership in Minnesota Farmers Union.

Additional work will include:

• Organizing Meetings and contacting members to attend them;

• Working with County Presidents, and other officers on membership and member education programs;

• Staffing Minnesota Farmers Union booth at trade shows, festivals and fairs;

• Writing articles and taking photographs for use in Minnesota Farmers Union publications and websites;

• Help recruit youth to attend Minnesota Farmers Union camps;

• Organize and participate in Minnesota Farmers Union education daycamps;

• Recruit members and attend annual Legislative Day at State Capitol • Work at Minnesota Farmers Union building at Minnesota State Fair;

• Attend and work at Minnesota Farmers Union State Convention and State Board meetings • Other duties as assigned. Additional Information:
