Soil Health Grant Webinar

Interested in adding soil health practices to your farm, but need equipment to make that happen? The Minnesota Soil Health Financial Assistance grant offers cost-share to invest in equipment that will increase soil health.
A webinar from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Aug. 8 will include information from Minnesota Department of Agriculture staff who will review the 2025 application period and answer frequently asked questions. Experienced grant reviewers will then discuss tips for submitting a strong application for this competitive grant.
Quick facts
- One of the first and only programs to reimburse for equipment including, but not limited to, no till drills, air seeders, agricultural drones for cover crop seeding, and more.
- Covers purchase of new equipment, used equipment, and parts to retrofit existing equipment.
- Awards range from $500-$45,000 (up to 50 percent cost share).
- Individual producers, producer groups, and local government units are eligible to apply.
The Soil Health Equipment Grant will be open for applications from Aug. 1 to Aug. 29.
