What: COACT 45th Annual Farm Picnic
When: 1 p.m. Aug. 23
Where: Pierz Golf Course Park Pavilion
Speakers: Minnesota Agriculture Commissioner Thom Petersen and state Rep. Robert Bierman, Co-Chair of the Health Finance and Policy Committee, who will speak about the financial crisis of distressed rural hospitals, and what can be done to address the needs of these hospitals and the communities they serve.
Food: Meal provided by Franciscan Sisters of Little Falls and Morrison County Farmers Union.
Cost: There is no charge.
