What: Cottonwood County Farm & Rural Emergency Readiness Workshop
When: 9:30 a.m. to noon, March 14; reschedule date is April 18, if needed.
Where: Westbrook Community Center, 849 5th St, Westbrook
Purpose: Equip farm families and agricultural community members with practical, hands‑on emergency response skills. Adults and youth (ages 12+) may participate in the training to earn one emergency kit for their families.
Emergency responders will lead hands-on education. There will be information on the use of tourniquets, care for burns and eye injuries, wound care and more.
