Fillmore County Well Screening Clinic

Free nitrate and chloride screenings will be offered at Fillmore Central Elementary School, Door 1, 702 Chatfield Ave NW, Preston, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Jan. 13.
Results will be available in 15 minutes. While you wait, you may talk one-on-one with water experts, who are also well owners, regarding your results, questions and options. This consultation is free and confidential.
If further testing is advised, a voucher for a free certified test will be provided.
Collect at least one cup of water in a clean (preferably glass) container from the tap where you usually drink. If you have a water treatment system, take 2 samples – 1 from untreated water, and 1 from your sink. Take the sample within 24 hours of arriving at the Water Testing Clinic.
