The FUEL program empowers leaders from the Farmers Union Enterprise states of Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin. Every year, members from each state are selected to represent their state organization in the program – a series of four learning opportunities. The group receives hands-on training to enhance their knowledge of cooperatives and Farmers Union.

FUEL Travel Dates for 2026-27
- Mid to late July 2026: Summer session in Redwood Falls, Minnesota.
- Early September 2026: NFU Fall Legislative Fly-in, Washington, D.C.
- Nov. 20-22, 2026: MFU State Convention, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
- March 2027: NFU National Convention, Location TBA
