County conventions are an annual business meeting for MFU’s county organizations. This is where MFU’s grassroots policy process begins. Members also have the opportunity to socialize. They often share a meal together and hear from speakers.

They elect delegates to attend the state convention and debate resolutions. Resolutions are ideas for policy at the state or federal level.

Last year, one of those resolutions was lifting the cap on the Beginning Farmer Tax Credit (BFTC).
