Janet Kubat is the MFU Communications Director. She manages print publications for MFU, works with staff to develop promotional plans and works to make sure the stories of MFU members are told to a wider audience through mass media. Janet grew up on a dairy, hog and crop farm in southeastern Minnesota and spent her summers picking rock and unloading square bales. After graduating from Minnesota State University-Mankato, she worked for several newspapers. Most recently, she worked for Farm Progress. In addition, she supports her husband’s steel roofing and siding business and is part of the farm pit crew, which also includes their four children. They raise corn and soybeans in Dodge County.
