JoEllen (Jo) Schwake, Accounting.

Jo was raised on a dairy farm in Kasson-Mantorville in Dodge County, Minn., and participated in 4-H growing up. Before settling into a career in bookkeeping and accounting, Jo supported the activities of doctors in the ENT and Surgical Pathology group at the Mayo Clinic. Since leaving Mayo she has worked as a bank operations specialist and done bookkeeping and accounting for an independently owned accounting services company. In 2003, she purchased Computer Edge which was her employer at the time. She relocated the company from Hayfield to Inver Grove Heights and added IT services and QuickBooks accounting to its suite of service offerings. She is a fully certified QuickBooks Professional advisor and has been working with Minnesota Farmers Union for eight years. In her free time, she enjoys bowling, golfing, fishing and going to the cabin.
