Located near the Mississippi River in downtown Minneapolis and owned by Minnesota Farmers Union, the food and atmosphere of Farmers Kitchen + Bar are designed to connect eaters with farmers.
MINNESOTA COOKS
Minnesota Cooks™ is a program created by Minnesota Farmers Union, celebrating the partnerships between Minnesota’s dedicated family farmers and talented chefs, cooks, restaurant owners, brewers, distillers, makers and processors from around the state who highlight farm-fresh foods on their menus.
FARMERS UNION AGENCY
Farmers Union Agency, Inc. was established in 1947 to meet the insurance needs of Minnesota Farmers Union members. Today, FUA has 37 agents in 38 offices located throughout the state of Minnesota and serves rural and urban customers.
FARMERS UNION INDUSTRIES
Farmers Union Industries combines old-fashioned ideals with modern technology to turn used cooking oil, animal by-products and other things people throw away into something you can use. Divisions include Performance Pet, Redwood Farms Meat Processors, Midwest Grease, Central Bi-Products, Northland Choice and Artex.
NORTH CENTRAL USDA REGIONAL FOOD BUSINESS CENTER
The North Central USDA Regional Food Business Center focuses on expanding small and mid-sized agricultural value chains in Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota. Our goal is to transform the region into an area that supports the development of critical infrastructure for small and mid-size livestock processing, fruit and vegetable processing, and warehouse space and storage operations.
