MFU chapters around the state are hosting Climate Conversations to discuss the challenges and opportunities in communities. 

Climate-Smart Commodities Working Group

The Partnerships for Climate-Smart Commodities Minnesota Working Group coordinates efforts and shares information on the projects funded in Minnesota through the USDA climate-smart grant program.

RIPE100 Pilot

MFU Foundation is a partner on the Rural Investment to Protect our Environment (RIPE) pilot, which will pay farmers $100 per acre for the public value of the environmental benefits their conservation practices provide.

Co-ops for Climate

The pilot grant program, Cooperatives for Climate, will empower farmer-led cooperatives to build capacity for organizing business that leads climate action.
