Supporting 4-H and FFA

Minnesota Farmers Union is proud to support 4-H and FFA, programs which bring agricultural leadership skills to countless young people.

A large part of this support comes at the Minnesota State Fair. We sponsor the winner’s signs that go to livestock show champions for both 4-H and FFA, as well as the back numbers worn by all students worn during the judging of their animals. Farmers Union also sponsors a dairy showcase scholarship as well as a 4-H scholarship.

The first Saturday of the fair is the 4-H Purple Ribbon Livestock Auction. MFU and Farmers Union Insurance Agency are honored to be lead buyers in this event that supports 4-H members.

Additionally, MFU has been a Diamond Level Sponsor of the Minnesota FFA Foundation for more than 50 years and yearly sponsors jackets in the FFA Blue Jackets, Bright Futures program.
