17 Rooms – West Central Minnesota

Minnesota Farmers Union Vice President Anne Schwagerl and Climate and Working Lands Director Ariel Kagan are hosting a room at the 17 Rooms – West Central Minnesota event June 12 at the University of Minnesota Morris campus.

17 Rooms is a process to help communities advance practical next steps toward local priorities for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Developed by the Center for Sustainable Development at Brookings and The Rockefeller Foundation, 17 Rooms processes are defined by three key principles:

1. All SDGs get a seat at the table.
2. Take a next step, not the perfect step.
3. Conversations, not presentations.
