Rice and Scott County Convention

The county convention for Rice and Scott County Farmers Unions is 6 p.m. Sept. 13 at Fireside Orchard, 2225 Lonsdale Blvd E, Northfield.

As a grassroots policy organization, annual county conventions (aka annual business meetings) are the building blocks of MFU policy. It is the participation of members, through attending and bringing forth resolutions, that gives Farmers Union a strong voice in St. Paul and Washington, D.C.

The meeting will include election of officers, election of delegates to the state convention and a call for resolutions.
