Harvest Star

What: Harvest Star: Farmers, vendors, theater, food and music!
When: Sept. 20, 6:30 p.m. – Sept. 21, 11 p.m.
Where: Neer Park, 311 2nd Avenue S.E., New London
About the event: Harvest Star brings together farmers, vendors, theater, food and music at Neer Park on the Crow River, just off the Glacial Lakes State Trail. It has picnic tables, restrooms, bleachers, foot paths and a stage area.
Sod House Theatre will perform a choreographed five course dinner titled “Table” that celebrates agriculture and the harvest beginning at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 20.
On Sept. 21, festivities begin with a parade at 1 p.m., then a local vendor market will open at 2 p.m. and run through 5 p.m. Harvest Star concludes with live music by local bands until 11 p.m.
