More information: Join the Rice and Dakota County Farmers Union for a casual summer get-together to catch up and complain with other farmers! Why complain? This is how policy resolutions are born! For those new to Farmers Union, we’ll be explaining what a policy resolution is, why they’re important, and brainstorming ideas for resolutions we might like to bring to our County Convention later this season.
We’ll also hear from our delegates to last year’s state convention about their experiences as first-time attendees and the process of creating a state policy platform. All are welcome. Food provided. Beverages are BYO.
