The FSQR Manager/Production Supervisor is a full-time in-person role based in Staples, MN, responsible for overseeing food safety, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and daily production operations within a meat processing environment. This position leads and manages HACCP, GMP, and other food safety programs; monitors production processes and product quality; ensures compliance with USDA and other regulatory standards; and resolves non-conformance issues through effective root cause analysis and corrective actions. In addition to supervising and training production and QA staff, the role supports continuous improvement initiatives, tracks key performance metrics, and fosters a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The Minnesota Farmers Union Operations Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the organization’s day-to-day operations, events, and internal coordination while serving as a primary point of contact for members and the public. Working closely with the Director of Operations, this position helps ensure smooth administrative processes, effective communication across departments, and successful planning and execution of meetings and events—from large statewide conventions to staff and board meetings. The Operations Coordinator supports membership services, office management, and cross-departmental projects that advance MFU’s mission of strengthening family farmers, rural communities, and agricultural advocacy across Minnesota.
