Hennepin-Ramsey book club and coffee social
What: The Hennepin-Ramsey unit is hosting a book club and coffee social.
When: Noon to 2 p.m. Feb. 21
Where: Open Book, 1011 Washington Ave. S, Minneapolis
Details: The first hour will be dedicated to a conversation about “Bad Company: Private Equity and the Death of the American Dream” by Megan Greenwell, followed by a second hour for social time and connection. Didn’t get a chance to read the book? No problem — this conversation is open to everyone.
A few perks about this event: the venue has a parking lot, and there’s a bookstore (Milkweed Editions), in the building. Also, the Mill City Farmers Market will be happening indoors at the Mill City Museum that day, with winter market hours from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Visit the market, then swing by and spend some time in community with MFU members and friends.
Coffee and light appetizers will be provided. Please RSVP at this link.
Organized by Nikki Warner.
