Local Meat Supply Chain Tour

Join the Meat Processing Working Group and Sprout to see both the farmer and buyer side of a local meat supply chain on Sept. 26. We will tour Sprout’s facilities and learn about their receiving, storage, sales and shipping processes for local farm products. After lunch on your own in Little Falls, we will tour Brenda Rudolph’s farm to see how a small-scale, diversified livestock farmer manages wholesale meat sales.
Event schedule:
- 10:45 a.m. — Arrival at Sprout
- 11 a.m. to noon — Sprout Tour
- Noon – 1 p.m. — Lunch
- 1:30 p.m. – Arrival at Rudolph Farm
- 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. — Farm Tour
