What: Medicine Creek Farm in Finlayson is hosting the third year of the Butcher’s Dinner and Barn Dance. The event includes a farmers market.
When: Sept. 13, 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Food: The farm-to-table dinner is created by the team at Baptism River Barbecue and Denham Run Bar & Grill using ingredients from Medicine Creek Farm, Y-ker Acres, Abraham’s Table Farm, Rising Phoenix Community Farm, Food Farm and Shepherd’s Way Farms.
Cash bar: A cash bar includes cocktails and wine curated by the Libation Project from local and natural producers, as well as beer from Moose Lake Brewing and cider from Sapsucker Farms Yellow Belly Cidery.
Dance: After dinner, Heartbreak Affair will entertain guests.
This event is organized in collaboration with Renewing the Countryside, Sustainable Farming Association and Minnesota Farmers Union to promote and expand agritourism opportunities through local on-farm events.
