The Green Ammonia Summit: Decarbonization and Rural Vitality will bring together stakeholders to discuss the future of green fertilizer in Minnesota and beyond.

The emergence of green ammonia fertilizer offers many benefits to the agricultural sector, including substantial reductions in greenhouse gas emissions and a more stable supply of regionally produced fertilizer. More information about green ammonia fertilizer and the role it can play in regional economic development and decarbonization is summarized in the article “Harvesting Minnesota’s Wind Twice” by Ariel Kagan and Mike Reese.

Minnesota Farmers Union is organizing the Green Ammonia Summit to bring together farmers, private sector partners, technical experts, energy and utility companies, researchers, policymakers, and farm organizations to discuss the future of green fertilizer both in Minnesota and beyond.
