Gail Donkers and her husband, Jim, have three children and farm with their extended family in Faribault where they raise corn, soybeans, alfalfa, dairy steers, finishing hogs and sheep. Gail’s specialty is the sheep portion of the operation where they raise Dorsets and Babydolls and sell breeding stock across the United States. She grew up on a dairy and diversified livestock farm near Wanamingo and graduated from the U of M with a degree in animal industry marketing and a minor in technical communications. A long time MFU member, Gail is thrilled to be working for MFU and the members in southeastern Minnesota. In her free time Gail enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, showing and marketing their sheep, wet felting with wool and machine embroidery.
