Steve Linder was elected to the MFU Executive Committee in 2019 representing District 1. His son and daughter-in-law, Ben and Lexi, took over the farm in rural Oklee in 2022. He is the President of Red Lake County Farmers Union. He is on the Garnes Township Board, has been on the Oklee Co-op Elevator Board for 21 years, the Red Lake Electric Co-op Board for 21 years and served as Director of the Square Butte Electric Co-op for 10 years.
