Scholarships

Every year, Minnesota Farmers Union, National Farmers Union and Farmers Union Industries offer numerous scholarship opportunities to members and their children.

Minnesota Farmers Union

This scholarship is for any Minnesota Farmers Union member or their children who plan to attend or are currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution. Up to five $1,000 scholarships will be awarded.

Kandiyohi County

The Kandiyohi County Scholarship is available to any Minnesota Farmers Union member or their child who resides in Kandiyohi County.

The Rice County Scholarship is available to any Minnesota Farmers Union member or their child who resides in Rice County.

Fly-in Scholarship

Two FFA students or two adult agricultural students are awarded a scholarship to attend the National Farmers Union Legislative Fly-in in Washington, D.C. Camp Scholarships

Many counties also provide scholarships to assist children who wish to attend Minnesota Farmers Union Leadership Camp. Call Minnesota Farmers Union at 651.639.1223 for more information.

NFU Women's Conference Scholarship

The National Farmers Union Women’s Conference is Nov. 7-9 at Hotel Valencia Riverwalk, 150 E Houston St., San Antonio, Texas. MFU offered 5, $1,000 scholarships. All scholarships have been awarded.

National Farmers Union Scholarships

Each year, several $1,000 – $2,000 scholarships are awarded to Farmers Union members enrolled in a two- or four-year college or university.

Farmers Union Industries Foundation Regional Scholarships

Each year, several $1,500 scholarships are awarded to Farmers Union members in Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
